My First Day!

I'd like to thank our students and staff for making my first day at Poland Union Elementary School so special. The day went by very quickly! I'd like to wish Mrs. Smallhoover all the happiness in the world. She will be missed.

Please be sure to ask your children about today's morning announcements. I made a few changes to the routine. (I just couldn't find those Richard Simmons Exercise Tapes!) I enjoy taking time in the morning talking to the students and will begin reading a chapter book tomorrow. I explained that I expect all students to be respectful and quiet when I am speaking. I will be very strict when it comes to this and ask for your support.

On Friday, I'll post a "virtual assignment" for those willing to do a little extra work. It will be due on Monday morning. I will reward those who choose to participate.

Creating a website is no walk in the park. I'd like to thank my dear friend Lori for all of her hard work. I'm very pleased with the way the site looks and know it will get even better. I'd also like to thank my friend Tom for his contributions to the site. His creativity never ceases to amaze me.

I lock forward to making more changes to Poland Union's website in the upcoming months. It will be a valuable tool and wonderful way to share information.
